Blue River Guns

I have an established paypal account now for Blue River Guns to make purchases quicker and more secure for all parties concerned.  I am also currently researching a low cost merchant account to take credit cards by phone or fax for products etc.

Indiana Sales Tax and Business certificate should be received by May 31st according to the Indiana Gov website!  One step closer.

I have completed and received an IRS EIN number for the Blue River Guns business name.  I have filed with the state of Indiana to collect sales tax as required for merchants.  I have an appointment with my local banker to set up the account for Blue River Guns.  Once the account is setup on Tuesday I have a vendor in the waiting to begin sales of firearm related accessories that do not require the 01 FFL.  I look foward to opening the doors to Blue River Guns within the next couple of weeks.  God Bless, Paul-owner

I received confirmation today that the application fee for the 01 FFL has cleared at the BATF. Now they have the funds and I should hopefully receive a call soon for the scheduled interview and training for the 01 FFL.

I confirmed today that the BATF received the application for an 01 FFL back on May 4th so now I am simply waiting for a phone call from the BATF to perform an onsite interview and training.  I have worked on several documents today to include a pre-purchase agreement form, hold harmless agreement for firearm and ammunition purchases, and I am reviewing the necessary requirements for a bond book to track gun sales and transfers.  I am continuing to work on web solutions for purchases and payment.  Once again I look foward to serving you in the near future as hopefully one of your first choices when you think of an FFL dealer!

Over the past week I have continued to research and develope the various methods in which I will be using for e-commerce on this website.  Other issues that I have began to tackle would include pre-purchase agreements,  limited liability documents, and other administrative forms.  Still waiting a call from the BATF to schedule interview and training. 

I was able to get pictures taken today, and went over paper work several times to make sure it was all correct.  Spoke with the ATF twice to clear up some questions I had (which went very easy).  They are very helpful.  Finally, got the package sent out this afternoon and now the waiting process begins.

One step closer in having the application finished.  I went to the local sheriff's department and got finger printed.  Went to wal-mart to get pictures made, but the photo shop was closed.  I will try again tomorrow (after turkey hunting in the morning of course :) and hopefully get everything sent out tomorrow afternoon or Friday.  Thanks to Coyote Creek Guns for some help with the application.  I appreciate it Keith!  God Bless

I am currently working on an e-commerce solution for non-firearms related purchases such as holsters, lights, mags, and other accessories.  I will either use this website for e-commerce or have a link in the inventory section to a store front on ebay.  Either way I want to make the process as seemless for you the valued customer as possible!

Filled out the paperwork tonight for the ATF.  Will go get fingerprints and photos made this week and hopefully have the application in the mail by Friday or Saturday.  Will make a stop by the local chief leo to give him copies of the ATF forms as well.
